This is a sorry catalogue of very serious criminal offences with which University students – our future leaders – should not be involved at all. No word from this Court will be too strong to condemn and deprecate this misconduct and lawlessness. They run counter to the letter and spirit of our current war against indiscipline. Students may have their grievances and it is part of the discipline of their University training to use only legal means to secure redress. This they failed to do. The students were wrong, very wrong, to have gone on a rampage.
